lawyers are grouped into 6 practice groups: Corporate and Business
Law, Litigation, Intellectual Property, Real Property and Construction,
Labor & Employment and Tax. Many of our attorneys are members

What is the associate review process?
Associates are reviewed formally once a year by all partners. However,
we expect partners to evaluate associate performance on an ongoing
basis. A written summary of comments from partners is given to each
associate before the review meetings. Formal reviews are conducted
by a group of two or three partners, including a partner with whom
the associate works regularly. Informal reviews and practice development
efforts are also addressed within practice groups.
What benefits does the Firm offer?
The Firm provides its associates with health insurance coverage,
life insurance and long term disability insurance. The Firm also
sponsors a 401 (k) plan and a profit sharing plan for employees.
Associates may take three weeks of vacation per year, in addition
to the holidays observed by the firm.
Associates are also given the opportunity to attend, at the Firm's
expense, programs and courses sponsored by legal educational and
training organizations and continuing education programs sponsored
by local and state bar associations.
Do you employ part-time attorneys?
Part-time practice arrangements are made by the Firm in individual
cases. Associates who practice on a part-time basis or on a contract
basis are compensated in accordance with hours worked.
What are the firm's billing expectations?
We expect associates to bill 1,850 client hours per year and to
spend additional time on practice group activities, continuing education
and client development.
